Finding Inspiration From Stillness
The Reset brands were created by Dan Spencer, with assistance and inspiration from friends. It began with the development of the Reset Station, a meditation device designed to help individuals manage stress and anxiety in the workplace.
In a moment of stillness, there came a realisation that something was needed to help people find some peace at the time and in the place they most needed it.
With a longstanding interest in meditation, the goal was to create something simple that would benefit everyone and allow them to reset their thoughts with one button press.
During the development of the Reset Station, Dan encountered a local company manufacturing vibrational sound furniture. As they were both trying to use sound to help people, a natural collaboration was formed – you could say they were on the same wavelength.
​Dan started to work with this company, providing them with sales and marketing support and offered to explore new markets. The vibrational technology had already proven to be beneficial to people with neurological disorders and as it stimulated the Vagas nerve is also helped lower stress and anxiety levels in anyone.
With a keen interest in the wellness industry, the benefits of their products seemed like they would be a natural compliment other holistic treatments.
Dan's journey in the holistic and wellness industries began with Reiki attunements in 2006, followed by Reiki 2 in 2016. Recognising the potential of the vibrational sound bed and wanting to prove it’s effectiveness, he devised a holistic treatment.
This treatment consisted of playing specific audio tracks, that utilised the healing benefits of the Solfeggio Frequencies, through the vibrational sound bed and channelling Reiki energy into someone lying on it. It’s a combination which proved immensely relaxing and therapeutic so formed the foundation of the offering from Reset Therapy.
Combining Reiki with specific healing sound frequencies provides a totally relaxing and healing experience.

Although holistic treatments and meditation are very much part of Dan's life and philosophy now, he had previously exceled in sales, marketing and operational roles. He was also well regarded for his business acumen and all these skills remained integral to his endeavours.
Having run companies for himself in the media and events industry Dan has also always made himself available to help other people get their businesses up and running. Helping to empower someone to start their own business has always been immensely rewarding and having been through this journey many times knowing what needed to be done to launch a business, came easily.
This support work has been done under a few different guises over the years but to tie everything together, Reset Solutions was formed and all three brands were amalgamated into this website.
The final addition to this is The Business Launch guide, an eBook authored by Dan with the intention of helping people make their dreams of running their own business a reality.
Having navigated the business launch process numerous times, there was a realisation that the practical steps you needed to go through, to start your own business, weren’t readily clearly defined anywhere.
Although each step is explained individually somewhere on the internet, knowing the sequence of the tasks you need to complete and how to do them had proven to be a challenge for the people Dan had previously helped.
Searching for a guide on how to start a business just returns generic high level information. So The Business Launch Guide aims to consolidate all the information you need to make a business idea a reality and it draws on the 25 years of experience Dan has in this area to empower people to do it for themselves!
Reset Solutions, Reset Therapy and Reset Station now form the foundations for Dan’s working life allowing him to blend his professional business experience with his commitment to find peace and contentment for himself and others.
